Manauss provides consulting services in biodiversity management, eco-lodge operations, and sustainable resource utilization for conservation areas and private reserves in South Africa. All services are delivered based on a written agreement that defines the specific scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees. No verbal or implied terms extend beyond the signed contract.
The client agrees to provide accurate information, grant reasonable site access, and assign a point of contact for the duration of the engagement. Delays or failures caused by incomplete information or restricted access may result in revised timelines or additional costs, as outlined in the agreement.
All reports, frameworks, and recommendations produced by Manauss remain the intellectual property of Manauss until full payment is received. Upon payment, the client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the deliverables for internal operational purposes. Manauss retains the right to use anonymized data for research and portfolio presentation.
Manauss provides professional advice based on current best practices and site-specific data. We do not guarantee specific ecological outcomes, financial returns, or regulatory approvals. Our total liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the total fees paid for that specific engagement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of revenue or reputational harm.
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. In the event of early termination, the client pays for all work completed up to the termination date plus reasonable wind-down costs. Manauss may terminate immediately if the client breaches confidentiality, fails to pay, or engages in illegal activity related to the engagement.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Registered clients will be notified of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall first be addressed through mediation in the Western Cape before arbitration. For legal inquiries, contact us at info@manauss.com or write to 3066 September Mountains.
